Which cartel pack to buy

You have to wait for the bind timer to expire before mailing, trading, or selling the item. I don't recommend buying any packs or Hypercrates to open yourself. It is way too much of a gamble to get anything good, especially with recent packs. It is far more effective to buy Hypercrates or whatever else and sell them for credits on the GTN and then use those credits to buy whatever cartel items you want off of the GTN. DrDaMoZ Isn't it odd?

If we shouldn't open packs, then who in his right mind would buy them in the first place? I see nothing but advice to not open them, but the logical conclusion would be that nobody will buy them either so you'll end up with lots of expensive and worthless dead weight.

And the people who are mad enough to buy them are either rich people who don't care or addicts who have no choice and do you really want to be part of the problem by keeping addicts fueled? That makes you worse then EA's own greed, doing their work for them. If the RNG is inherently disadvantageous we should stop supporting such a system. At this rate the greed will only divide the community in such a way that the game WILL destroy itself by our hands ,and EA? They'll make another cashgrab mmo and repeat the process unless we the players stand up and refuse to participate in this nonsense!

I generally will buy at least one full set of any armor, as well as weapons and other CM items if I even remotely think I might use them later on. I have many of the super rare and very pricey older sets and items in storage and the most I have ever paid for any armor set is a couple million credits. But for some people, it's an easy route and something they want to do. It won't work for every MMO.. It takes about 30 minutes per day, on average, for me to earn between 7 and 20 million credits profit per day in todays player economies.

All the choices might be a little overwhelming, though, especially if you plan on keeping a subscription, so let me help you focus on a few things that you should keep an eye on. Before we start on what to look at, however, let me give you a piece of advice on what you might want to avoid.

Although it's tempting to just dive in and get nothing but a collection of the Cartel Packs, your luck is going to play a big role in what you're able to get. On top of that, even if you're planning on selling everything you get from the packs, the money needs to be in the pocket of the person interested in it. Your best bet is to invest in the things that you'll want in-game and only spend the leftover money on a roll of the dice.

For the price of Cartel Coins, you can get the top level of Rocket Boost, which would cost you several million in game credits. This is especially useful when rolling a new character and in locations such as caves where mounts aren't allowed. This really speeds up your travel time. Spend your coins to unlock handy services and kiosks on your ship. Keep in mind, however, that the costs in Cartel Coins are not representative of their worth in Credits.

While it might be tempting to spend the Cartel Coins to get an extra Cargo Hold, you should spend the coins and get one for your entire account. The cost keeps going up and up in credits, but the cost stays the same in Cartel Coins. If you have more than 2 characters right now, or if you're planning on having more in the future, you will be setting yourself up for a much easier time storing items on new characters—and saving millions of credits at the same time.

For Cartel Coins, you can unlock any species of your choice and be able to use it for new characters. Considering it costs 1. It's something to consider if you're running short on credits. The common items will likely be nothing to write home about, and you have the chance of getting something really rare and valuable if you go this route.

Although risky, you also will have the best chance of hitting a payday. Keep in mind, though, that you will need to act fast. Authorization: Event Equipment Requisition. Unlock: Guild Bank Access. Unlock: Additional Quickbar. Unlock: Cargo Hold Access. Unlock: Additional Cargo Bay.
