Where is the dredge from skeleton creek

In the film, Leonard has no memory, and must use a series of tattoos on his body to figure out what happened to him. Carl stumbles onto all sorts of paranormal investigations, just like Ryan and Sarah! In the story, a mariner kills a giant bird and comes upon some very bad luck thereafter. Lutz wrote a story that is very scary for the author of Skeleton Creek.

The Amityville Horror! Veal is a pamphlet that was published anonymously in and is usually attributed to Daniel Defoe. In the story, Mrs.

Veal sends letters to a friend, but the friend later finds out that Mrs. Veal died the day before the letters were sent! It is considered to be among the first mystery novels ever written.

After this three pictures were found in the photos section of patrickcarman. In the last picture, the journal is seen upside down with the name Ryan McCray written on the back.

And what does his journal say? Latet blog post: Analysis - I must be on the right track. Read the daily blog. Reverse order 1. See the books for yourself! He asked if I wanted to borrow it and he brought the whole series in for me to read. He said I would love them and he told me to be sure to watch the videos. I started reading it and could not put it down and I made sure to watch all of the videos. It involves two best friends who, after an accident that occurs before the beginning of the story, aren't allowed to hang out with each other as they always get themselves into trouble when they do.

Ryan writes in his journal about what caused him to be bedridden in a Big Bertha caste and Sarah does all the investigating sending him videos and chats about a ghost, a gold dredge and a secret society cover-up. The fact that we get to hear Ryan's voice through his journals is cool enough there aren't enough boy narrators in YA fiction , but we also get to see Sarah's videos as she talks directly to us via the internet giving us mysterious passwords based on scary stories and haunting characters to see what she sees.

If I were a kid in this day and age I would be love. I'm a little creeped out anyways and read this book in an hour. It doesn't help that Ryan thinks everyone is out to get him and nothing and no one is what it seems. I love the allusions to classic horror novels, movies and characters. I love the historical background I had to look up what a drudge is and I look forward to reading the rest of the series This is one of those books middle school English teachers cram down your throat.

The story is in two different sections. One half is actually in the book the other is on video via Internet. This means when the author couldn't write about how he wants to the story to evolve he This is one of those books middle school English teachers cram down your throat.

This means when the author couldn't write about how he wants to the story to evolve he could casually go to a video only opened by a "secret password. It was creative on how the author could straddle the line between filming and literature.

That's about all I like. Looking back I now know why the middle school English teachers picked this because the degenerates only ha to read half the time and watched the other half. On to the plot. This is the part I really hated. Besides it is a series and it ends abruptly which actually doesn't leave you wondering what happens next the characters are so unlikable. Ryan broke his leg or something so the author tries to play the sympathy card with him which doesn't work. The story revolves around them finding some cult who was connected to a dude dying in a mining accident and on and on and on with really dull over used story.

Also if you took the most basic 8th grade science class you can catch on more about chemistry and alchemy which takes these characters forever to figure out. Another thing that gets me is that Ryan generally trashes works of some of my favorite authors mostly Edgar Allen Poe and make them passwords to the story! In short a overly unthought out and redundant off shoot of Scooby Doo. It is written in journal format but periodically though out the book you are given a website and password to access video that goes with the story.

Plot: Ryan and his friend Sarah were investigating the old Dredge in the woods of Skeleton Creek when Ryan fell and shattered his leg. Now Ryan is laid up at home and both teens are forbidden from seeing each other.

Determined to find out what exactly they saw while investigating Sarah and Ryan begin a forbidden correspondence. The book is told through Ryan using his journal and e-mails to Sarah. We see Sarah through the videos she takes and post for Ryan to view.

Characters: Ryan is a teen who likes to write. Ryan is always journaling to get his thoughts on paper. This also helps to keep his paranoia at bay. He is very loyal to Sarah and would do anything for her. Sarah is fearless. She often goes and does dangerous things without thinking it through. She is determined to find out the truth and discover what is really going on in Skeleton Creek.

There are four books in the series at this time. All have the same format, Ryan writes and Sarah captures the videos. The book references classic literature and could be a hook to get kids to read some of these classics like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Blair Witch for the younger crowd Ryan wakens after being in a hour coma to be told that he and his best friend, Sarah, can no longer communicate there's even tracking software on his computer.

Because he was in the coma, and seriously broke his leg, late at night at the old gold dredge outside town. There's something going on, something that involves the town's name change, a mysterious group called Crossbones, the death of Old Joe Bush, and alchemy; they're going to figure out wha Blair Witch for the younger crowd There's something going on, something that involves the town's name change, a mysterious group called Crossbones, the death of Old Joe Bush, and alchemy; they're going to figure out what happened.

The reason I don't know what happened is because the book is linked to a website, and every few pages there's a new password that'll bring up video shot by "Sarah" each video is apparently more terrifying than the one before.

The passwords are macabre in tone, ranging from allusions to Poe and Stevenson to Dracula and Poltergeist. Here's the thing: if I'm reading, I don't want to interrupt my book to go to the computer.

Chances are, looking at the video won't drive me back to the book, it'll drive me to check my e-mail, IM a few friends, fool around on Facebook, etc.. So I've now missed something important, plot-wise. The other problem with that trend is that it makes the book ephemeral. A good horror story and Ryan talks about some of the great Poe stories will be around for ever. Even Blair Witch can be eerie without the accompanying website and multi-media campaign that surrounded it. But this book?

Without the website, it doesn't really make sense. So what happens in a few years, when someone finds it, tries to go to that site, and the publisher has allowed it to close?

Ryan and Sarah have been friends since they were kids. And they are known to get into trouble together, but this last time, was the last straw for their parents. But both Ryan and Sarah are wondering if it is something more. It seems they are digging into Skeleton Creek's past too much and are onto something. Something strange is happening in Skeleton Creek and Ryan and Sarah have to find out what it is.

I just recently found this book at my local library. I had never heard of the series before, bu Ryan and Sarah have been friends since they were kids. I had never heard of the series before, but thought it looked like something I would like. It is in a journal format, sort of like Diary of a Wimpy Kid or Dork Diaries, but it is deals with the strange and paranormal instead. Ryan likes to write. A lot. And so he keeps a journal.

Sarah likes to video things and has her own website in which she uploads videos. They can only be accessed by entering the correct passwords.

And that is one of the things that makes this series really neat - throughout the book there are different passwords which can be used on Sarah's website so the reader can watch the videos that Ryan sees. I watched all of them and they can be creepy. It's pretty cool to have the videos to watch as well. The book was suspenseful, especially towards the end and what they find really got me trying to figure everything out, too.

I'm looking forward to reading the next book and finding out what happens. Skeleton Creek is a really fun and scary mystery book. Skeleton Creek is about Ryan, his friend sarah, and the dredge. The dredge is a really old building in the woods of the little old town they live in called Skeleton Creek.

Sarah and Ryan have been best friends since they were very little but had an accident at the dredge and after this happened their parents decided they weren't allowed talk or contact each other anymore. They think there is something strange about the dredge though. Like the Skeleton Creek is a really fun and scary mystery book.

Like there is a secret or something that nobody in the town wants them to find. They start getting suspicious and find ways they can contact each other without getting caught. Read to find out what they discover and how they discover it. This is a book in a series of four. I really liked this book and intrigued to find out what happens in the next book in the series. The first left you on a cliffhanger which I really liked because it makes me want to read the next book for sure.

Overall I really liked this book and how it ended. I am excited to pick up the next book and find out what happens next. This is a terrible book. It only takes an hour or so to read, but that's an hour you could be spending doing things that are far more productive, like smoking marijuana, or drinking vodka, or dropping out of high school. You could spend that hour playing video games, or going on facebook, or watching grass grow.

You could get through a couple Magic Treehouse books. What you should not do is read Skeleton Creek. Who decided to link a book with a website? Where did that idea even come fro This is a terrible book. Where did that idea even come from? When I am reading a book, I don't do it in front of my computer not usually and I definitely don't think, "well, I am going to go visit this website and type in this password because I have no life".

Actually, I think "Why is this here? Of course, I would be okay with this if it was actually a good book. Let me tell you a secret: it's not. It's not mind-explodingly terrible, but it really isn't a good book.

I would recommend it to anyone who has terrible taste in literature or is taking a class where they teach you to recognize mediocre writing and awful marketing decisions. Don't read Skeleton Creek. I will give it this: It's once of those books you can't put that because you have to know what happens! Having to pause from reading every couple of chapters in order to log into to the sarahfincher. I really wanted to like this book I will give it this: It's once of those books you can't put that because you have to know what happens!

I really wanted to like this book. I even forgave the annoying font its written in, knowing it's supposed to be like reading a "journal". In the end, I found the book gimmicky. The characters of Sarah and Ryan don't resemble the teens I see everyday. It's like they were shown old episodes of Dawsons Creek and told to add more breathing sounds.

You'll see what I mean Overall, if you're a fast reader, you'll finish in an hour so it's not a huge waste of your life. And you may love it and think I'm nuts.
