Hypothesis , on the other hand, is a mere idea or a concept, which is not scientifically analyzed. This is an assumption made by scientists before a research. However, once the hypothesis is analyzed and proved to be correct, it is recognized as a theory. But not all hypotheses become theories. Data are used to confirm or falsify theories and models.

Model is a physical, verbal, mathematical, or graphical representation f a concept or an idea. Models are developed based on a theory. It can be in any shape, size, and style. Models are created to simplify theoretical concepts.

They are created in the formulation of theories. They are prepared after conducting extreme research or experiments. A model is created to understand a phenomenon, eliminating unnecessary details, and simplify understanding. The model contains just the necessary or required points hence, a complex concept or theory can be simplifies using a model. On a few occasions models are also seen s an application of theory, it consists of boundary conditions of an singular particular group as it serves projections on the particularly related theory.

There are 4 types of models that created easier to understand and reference such as- the conceptual model, interactive lecture demonstration, mathematical and statistical mode, and teaching with visualizations. The definitions of the two terms can be confusing. Students may come up with both models and theories after performing the step-by-step process of scientific methods; however, models and theories are produced in different periods and levels of the study.

Models may be produced after the formulation of theories, but there can be instances where the models are produced before the theories. There can also be cases when models produce theories that in turn lead to the construction of another model for the verification of a theory. Note that one difference relies upon the fact that models are the basis of theories, while theories are the main basis for the explanation of different phenomena.

Models come in the form of a verbal, visual, or mathematical representation of a prospect or scientific process of structure that should be followed by scientists in order to come up with theories and test inferences.
